What is Acoustic Wave Therapy?

With Acoustic Wave Therapy, a rapidly moving projectile transfers its energy to the treatment head. The radial pressure waves that are generated spread out and are absorbed by the area of the body that has to be treated. Acoustic Wave Therapy uses the body’s intrinsic repair mechanisms to tighten the tissue.

How long does an Acoustic Wave Treatment need and when will I see results?

The length of the treatment will depend on the area being treated. A cellulite treatment for example takes 20 minutes per side.
Results can be experienced within 4-6 treatments and in some cases immediately after the first session.

Is an AW treatment painfull and will I need to take time off?

Most clients experience no discomfort during treatment. It’s generally well tolerated. With AWT there is no down time. You can resume your normal activities immediately without having to follow any special measures.

What is Cryotherapy?

The use of very low temperatures has been used since ancient times to relieve pain. It is an efficient way to activate the self-healing mechanisms of the body.
Pain is reduced by slowing down nerve conduction velocity, the inflammation process is slowed down by reduction in the metabolic and enzymatic reactions and muscle spasms decrease due to the decrease in muscle spindle activity.

Can Cryotherapy reduce fat?

The NIUU CT-1000-IR is a device used during all kind of uncomfortable treatments. It’s safe and effective way to relief pain and offer the patient an optimal treatment experience. It’s not a device meant to reduce fat.
